Google Analytics 4
Connecting Google Analytics 4 (GA4) lets Bronco read your site's traffic history, which gives it a baseline from before your TV campaigns started. Bronco only reads from GA4; it never changes your property.
Each advertiser connects its own GA4 property.
Before you start
- You need permission to manage users on the GA4 property.
- The advertiser must already exist in Bronco under Settings → Advertisers.
Connecting GA4
GA4 is connected by giving Bronco's service account read access to your property. There's no password or API key to share.
- In Bronco, go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Google Analytics 4.
- In another tab, open your GA4 account and go to Admin.
- Under Property Settings, open Property Access Management.
- Click +, then Add users.
- Enter the service account email shown in the Bronco dialog (use the copy button).
- Assign the Viewer or Analyst role and click Add.
- Copy your Property ID from GA4 Admin.
- Back in Bronco, choose the Advertiser, paste the GA4 Property ID, and click Save.
The Property ID is a number, not the measurement ID that starts with "G-".
After connecting
The connection appears under Connected with the property ID and the advertiser it belongs to. Bronco reads up to eight weeks of history from before your first campaign and refreshes the data nightly.
The advertiser can't be changed once a property is connected. To move a property to a different advertiser, disconnect it and connect it again.
Troubleshooting
If the connection shows Error, check that the service account still has Viewer or Analyst access on the property and that the Property ID is correct, then click Reconnect.
